Builds

back to Rules Mechanics

Builds essentially speed up the process of character generation, by giving players a quickly generated archetype to choose from. So as long as they have an idea of what they want their character to be like, they can just select a build and have pre-generated stats, letting them focus on skills, equipment, and special abilities. Players that use builds may want to plan around each other’s weaknesses and try to cover a range of specializations. If a build doesn’t quite suit a player’s needs, they’re always free to tweak them as they see fit. GMs may also wish to use this chart to quickly generate NPCs or bad guys.
